The Bayerische Staatsoper welcomes Piotr Beczala back to its stage for a two-performance revival of Un ballo in maschera July 27 and 30. Presented as part of the Münchner Opernfestspiele, the production opened earlier this year starring Piotr as Riccardo, earning the star tenor further acclaim for a vocally and dramatically invigorating performance in Jonas Erath’s account of Verdi’s drama.

The Festival revival reunites Piotr with the production’s original castmates, including Anja Harteros as Amelia, Franco Vassallo as Renato, and Okka von der Damerau as Ulrica. Daniele Callegari conducts. Limited tickets remain; click here for further information.
