Following his acclaimed run of Faust at the Salzburg Festival, Piotr Beczala remains in Austria for a liederabend at the annual Schubertiade on September 3.

Given in Hohenems at Markus Sittikus Hall, the evening of song hears the star tenor in a signature mix of repertoire including Schumann’s Dichterliebe, Rachmaninoff’s Six Romances, and assorted lieder by Richard Strauss including “Zueignung,” “Cäcilie,” “Das Rosenband,” and “Liebeshymnus.”

As was recently announced by the festival, Piotr will return to the Schubertiade in 2017 for a recital in Schwarzenberg on August 27.
