On September 17, Piotr Beczala gives a special recital at the Balboa Theatre to launch the San Diego Opera’s 2016-17 season.

The star tenor will now be heard in a program that will hear art songs, folk songs, Italian arias, and selections from Viennese operetta, having previously appeared with the company in 2014 for Verdi’s masterful Un ballo in maschera and towering Requiem. He made his company debut in 2010 with La Bohème.
