In his final concert of the summer season, Piotr Beczala joins an all-star cast of colleagues for Verdi’s monumental Requiem, closing out the Schleswig-Holstein Festival in Kiel, Germany. The Polish tenor joins soprano Erin Wall, mezzo-soprano Sonia Ganassi, and bass René Pape under the baton of Christoph Eschenbach. Taking place August 30, the concert also hears the NDR Symphony Orchestra and NDR Youth Symphony Orchestra in the Sparkassen-Arena.

Piotr recorded Verdi’s Requiem in 2013 with the Chorus and Orchestra of the Opéra National de Paris led by Philippe Jordan and starring opposite Kristin Lewis, Violeta Urmana, and Ildar Abdrazakov. Click here to add to your collection.
