On June 18 and 19, Piotr Beczala joins the Tonkünstler-Orchester Niderösterreich and conductor Yutaka Sado for the annual Sommernachtsgala in Grafenegg, Austria. The renowned international tenor is heard alongside mezzo-soprano Elisabeth Kulman and violinist Julia Fischer for this special summertime concert series. Selected performances from Piotr include arias from Werther, Carmen, and Das Land des Lächelns, as well as a duet with Kulman from Die Csárdásfürstin.

On June 19, television station ORF will broadcast the first evening’s sold-out concert for audiences around the country to see.

Honoring his work in Austrian musical theatre, Piotr was also recently awarded the 2015 Österreichischer Musiktheaterpreis.
