On February 18 and 20, in between appearances as Rodolfo in Puccini’s La bohème at the Berlin Staatsoper, Piotr Beczala heads to Prague to sing Dvorak’s Rusalka in the composer’s home country.

Reprising the role of the Prince, which he has recorded live with the Salzburger Festspiele in 2011 for Orfeo (audio) and the Metropolitan Opera in 2015 for Decca (video), Piotr stars opposite Dana Burešová in the title role with Štefan Kocán as Vodník and Jolana Fogašová as Ježibaba.
