Following a tremendously acclaimed performance as Werther with the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Piotr Beczala journeys from Barcelona to Berlin to reprise Rodolfo in La bohème at the Staatsoper.

The performances on February 11 and 24 mark Piotr’s second appearance in Puccini’s bohemian tragedy in the German capital city, having sung the work earlier this winter with the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Piotr shares the stage with Anita Hartig as Mimì, Anna Samuil as Musetta, Alfredo Daza as Marcello, Gyula Orendt as Schaunard, and Dominic Barberi as Colline. Domingo Hindoyan conducts the revival of Lindy Hume’s production.
