Following a 2016 that saw performances in New York, Milan, Paris, Vienna, Berlin, and beyond, Piotr Beczala launches his 2017 with a return to the title role in Werther at Barcelona’s Gran Teatre del Liceu.

The star tenor revives Massenet’s lovelorn poet in Willy Decker’s production, conducted by Alain Altinoglu. He stars opposite Anna Caterina Antonacci as Charlotte, with Joan Martín-Royo as Albert and Elena Sancho Pereg as Sophie.
