On December 25 and 27, Piotr Beczala joins the Deutsche Oper Berlin for a return to the role of Rodolfo in La Bohème. Puccini’s Christmastime opera is presented by the company in Götz Friedrich’s production, conducted by Ivan Repusic.

Having just sung the role in New York opposite the Mimìs of Kristine Opolais and Hei-kyung Hong, Piotr now joins a cast featuring Guanqun Yu as the bohemian seamstress, with Markus Brück as Marcello, Alexandra Hutton as Musetta, Noel Bouley as Schaunard, and Ievgen Orlov as Colline.
